Your Gifts At Work

We are thankful for those who have made an estate gift to The Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board of American Baptist Churches. All legacy gifts received are directed to the MMBB endowment to further our mission in the ways described below.

The MMBB Endowment

Since the inception of MMBB in 1911, the endowment has been supported by such prominent American Baptists as Milo C. Treat and John D. Rockefeller, Sr. Through investment gains, prudent stewardship, and additional gifts from donors, the MMBB endowment continues to grow. MMBB draws from the endowment to fund non-contractual benevolence programs, supplement comprehensive Lilly-funded financial education programs, and provide access to Certified Financial Planners® to all MMBB members, regardless of the size of the invested retirement assets. All legacy gifts received are directed to the MMBB endowment. No plan member assets or fees go into the MMBB endowment.
